Power Steering Way Too Sensitive
The power steering on my son's '97 Accord is incredibly sensitive to steering input, to the point that anything but a feather touch on the steering wheel causes excessive steering input. It doesn't change from parking lot to highway speeds either. Is there a pressure regulator in the pump body that may be stuck?

They have a steering assist system that bases it on speed. Its built into the gear assembly that is located under the vss. The thing about it is that the system is always loose until you gain speed, then it stiffens up to prevent oversteering at higher speeds. Then the system stiffens up so since yours is already loose at low speeds i would not suspect the steering assist system to be at fault here.
If anything is faulty i would think its rack related.
