Default 95 civic cruise control issue

Hi guys, I have problem with my cruise control. At first, the switch's light went out, but everything else was working perfectly. I thought it would just be a bulb problem. so I did not do anything. Maybe two to three weeks later, the cruise control stop working. I checked the fuse box, which under my dash, its fine. What should I do right now?? any suggests would help. Thanks

More than likely the switch but if you get a DVOM and the wiring schematic you should know within 5 minutes.

If you have chunks of plastic laying in the foot well (kinda looks like crayon pieces) then its possible that the stopper that triggers the cruise has fallen apart and you need to replace it. You dont say whether or not your car is manual or autotragic or what tirim level you have.

hmmm, I don't think I have anything laying in the foot well. But I will definitely check that as well.
BTW, where is that stopper actually locate at? behind the paddles? above the paddles?
