The general consensus is that 15400-PLM-A01 is a higher quality filter. Both will work though

Debate _ you couldn't give me a Fram filter to put on my dang lawn mower, much less a car I own.....IMHO, have a good day.

Frams synthetic media filters are decent, but there basic offerings are not up to par with most OEM pieces. I've always been a fan of Bosch filters or just OEM Honda. Pure actually has some decent offerings these days too. If your really curious, grab a few different types and open them up to see what the actual construction and canister setup is like and then make your decisions.

I see that Rock Auto sells a Denso oil filter. Is this the same as the Honda filter, or could it be worth ordering it to get a better one?

Boy you will have a hard time teaching me anything. Go replace your main relay everytime the car acts up and have a good day

All of you left out the "debate" part of my reply.

Also if you look, there are two different filters (PN) listed on most Honda websites.

Last, with a 2L engine there is either a swap involved or the OP is not from NA.

Do we want to get into what brand oil should be used? That should be just as fun.
