Just installed the sidemarkers on my car. Lemme know what you guys think.

Bought a rotary tool from Radioshack for only 22 bucks. Was on sale so I was like why not?


Marked off the sides according to the guide.


Made the first two cuts. Regardless of the rotary tool I had, the discs would run out really fast. So i went though about 8 of them on each side.


It's out!


Stripped the new wires and added the easy clip on couplers.


Did the wires for the side markers. I made them longer and folded them over to make the fitment into the coupler tighter.


I connected the couplers prior to putting them through the hole. This way wiring is much easier.


Snapped it in. I didn't have touch up paint, but i'll get that tomorrow.

Thats pretty close to what i did when i installed my side markers when i use to have an EK.

Also note which wires you tapped into for reference .

 

Yea good idea and thanks! Once I get my coilovers and some wheels it should start to look nice

 

nice install. im scared to cut into my fender. great cali weather! go usdm and avoid the cops.

 

Is was a little hesitant too but I was so determined cause it looks so nice I just followed the golden rule; measure twice cut once

And yeah man cali has great weather year round I'm really lucky lol
