Default D16Z6 BUILD HELP

I need suggestions for my build! Now, this is my daily driver. So im not looking for anything to expensive. I would like it to be at least 200-250Hp. I feel that will be okay for me to enjoy the car. Its a 93 Del sol Si!

Are you wanting Naturally Aspirated (NA) or Forced Induction (FI)?

You also have to specify your budget.

And lastly, you have to pick two out of the three below.

1)Cheap
2)Reliable
3)Fast

You can't have all three, only two.

And finally, you may want to read through some of the FAQ that is a sticky at the top of this forum. There is some good links in there about "How to make my car faster" that should help you decide a path you wish to take.

I will await your reply concerning NA or FI. If you avoid that topic, this thread will have to be locked as it isn't compliant with the tech or build threads we have. It's currently more of an opinion poll at the moment.

Forced Induction.

As for a price, id say about 1500-2000. So i'd say Cheap.

Definitely want it reliable. Just would like a little bit more power!

FAQ sticky. Open it. Read it. Love it. Once you've finished with that one, go to the FI section and read the FAQ sticky there. Read it multiple times. Go to sleep, wake up tomorrow, and read it again. Print it out and take it to work with you. Read it during your lunch break. Have it transcribed to audiotape (preferably by Morgan Freeman) and listen to it on your drive home. When you get home, read it again. You're asking to be spoon fed, which we don't do around here. Your budget is too low to accomplish all of your goals. ~200 is going to be your limit without opening the motor, you will need some form of FI to get there, and $1500 alone will be the cost of the turbo and tune, unless you do some hardcore shopping for used deals.

^^ This pretty much nails it and now that you've stated your direction and you have all the advise we can give (ADVISE: READ THE FAQ, THEN READ THE FI FAQ) for such a generic question.

This thread has run it's course. Closing to prevent it going sideways or even backwards.

Once you have more specific technical questions concerning your "build" either start a thread in the FI section or a true "BUILD" thread in this section.
