Default JDM B16 automatic in 2000 Civic

Hello, Hope someone can help me out here. I'm doing a JDM B16A swap with a S4XA automatic Trans and a P2T-J91 ECU into a 2000 Honda Civic EX. I got everything working besides the fuel pump and the rpm's aren't working. The main thing I wanna fix is the fuel pump. I hear the main relay for the fuel pump click on but the fuel pump doesn't prime or turn on. I ran a direct wire to it and it works and the car starts. As for the rmp's the wire harness on the driver side strut tower that goes into the car has only one plug the the engine wire harness has two plugs. The bigger plug plugs right in but the smaller one has nowhere to plug into. I'm also looking for a kick down cable. Can anyone help me out PLZ?

This project is for the wife.

The thing is, I'm not sure if you have the correct engine harness.

I have the JDM b16a engine wiring harness for a automatic. It was modified for left hand drive.

And therein lies your problem. The B16A is OBD0 or OBD1. Your chassis is OBD2B. An OBD0/OBD1 engine harness is not going to be compatible with an OBD2B engine harness. You'll need to start with an OBD2B Civic engine harness, and work from there.

Actually the engine and wire harness are obd2. Everything plugged up just fine I just have an extra plug by the driver side strut tower. I can turn the car on with the fuel pump wired directly and it's fine. Do you think a obd2b to obd2a conversion harness would work?

Then it isn't a B16A harness, since the B16A was only OBD0/1. So what exactly did that harness come out of?

They also came obd2. I bought the complete swap online. Forgot the name of the place. I do have a wire left over by the ecu. Here's a picture.

Should I jump a wire from this wire for the fuel pump to the ecu pin 16?

That's not a wire, that's an entire connector.

So, exactly which OBD2 variant is your engine harness? OBD2A and OBD2B engine/chassis harnesses are not compatible.

The engine wiring harness is obd2a.

Should I jump a wire from this connection for the fuel pump to the ecu pin 16?

So you're trying to use an OBD2A engine harness, and an OBD2B chassis harness. What you should do is get an OBD2B engine harness.

make sure the engine and cabin harnesses both match, see pic below:

also, you may need to move pin A16 to A16 to get the fuel pump to work, again, see pic below:

1997 was the last year that had kickdown cables. You an grab a kickdown cable from the Acura dealer for a 94-97 Integra RS/LS/GS, it'll fit.

Contact hasport and ask them for an OBD2A to OBD2B jumper harness for an automatic transmission.

Unrelated, but curious, did the transmission, ECU, wiring, and engine come as a complete swap?
