I have a 92 hatch with a b18c1 motor. My vis carbon fiber hood doesn't clear the motor. I have to push down on the hood for it to close which leaves the drivers side not sitting flush with the fender. What are my options?

 

Seriously? Hood risers, if it were a stock hood you could remove the webbing supprt slightly but not with carbon fiber. So option is hood risers.

 

do you have the correct mounts, is the engine sitting level? I've seen a wrong mount tilt an engine slightly and cause clearance issues, if there was a way to lower the engine a 1/4 inch or so, maby that would be enough, and probably woouldn't affect much else, being such a small amount
