S2k carbon headlight deletes.
So today my friend came by and helped me knock out a couple molds. In return we threw in the s2k headlights for her club race car in the mix. Here are some pictures of the progress and how I did it. Took 4 hours till cure for a mold. And a couple hours to cure for the parts. The glaze coat will take overnight. Very stoked how great they came out of the mold.
For a wet layup vacuum bag these look just as good as infusion. Absolutely no surface pin holes what so ever. Very quick job this was.

I only took the shape of the lens and left a half inch all the way around. I did not try to capture the mounting points. These were made for educated guess racing. They race primarily in NASA events at VIR. They can be urethaned in or brackets bonded on the backside. I did not cover the lens. These deletes are essentially a copy of the lens with a bit of run off.
Fenders and headlight deletes saved 20+ lbs on the front end. Fenders saved 2 lbs and the rest... Lights. All function and glorious carbon form. This is gonna wrap this thread up I guess. I hope this serves as an inspiration to go for it and learn a new trade for members.
