rear tire wear issues. need 2nd opinion
so I noticed today alot of shaking/vibration when driving/braking, thought it was just the brakes that i know need replaced from where the car set for a while before i bought it. looked under the car and the driver side rear tire looks like this on the inside, read alot about alignment/toe problems with these just wanted to get a second opinion, its a 03 RSX base 5spd, all stock.
Given the amount of tread left on the rest of the tire, I'd say the rear suspension at one point was disassembled and/or the car has been in an accident. Rear alignment on those cars rarely falls out of spec with normal wear and tear. Camber wont wear a tire that severely so quickly on its own, especially at stock ride height. 99% of that is from the tire being toe'd out. Go get an alignment
ok thanks, thats what i figured and i dont know exactly how quickly it did it, just recently picked the car up and it set for a few months before i got it. other tire you can tell is getting the same choppy/cupping effect on the other side just no where near as severe
