Anyone have any good pictures of the ground locations for the big 3 for my particular car? A lot of guides are old and no longer show pictures. I'll try to get pictures of my engine bay tomorrow. Hopefully this fixes some random issues with my car

I think some of my grounds are in their stock locations...so pictures would be helpful.

Would work for cable end terminals? Would save me soldering, but if soldering is a must I can use

 

For a ground, the first link should work just fine. If it were a positive cable on the battery, I'd aim for as strong of a connection I could make and go with soldered ends.

 

Bah so I have to buy both or solder them all. I'll just do the grounds first and the battery replacement cables another time.

 

What are the random issues?

 

VERY useful pictures. Random issues:
After turning key to "Crank" position, when it's cold out, it will not do ANYTHING for about 5 seconds. Then it will crank and turn over. Replaced the battery, my grounds are just messed up from the previous owner so I thought I'd do the cheap easy thing first.

 

If you already cleaned and tightened both sides of the G1 and G2 grounds and the problem persists, then next test the ignition switch.

 

Yeah I'm headed to the ignition switch and the starter if the issue persists. Should be easy to diagnose at that point.
