Hey guys. I'm a Honda enthusiast from sunny so cal. My first civic was a 97' DX EJ6 coupe, and most recently (posthumously... sadly) a 98' EX EJ8 coupe.

I regret that I crashed the first being a stupid 18 year old kid. the second wanted to die even after I dropped a lot of money for a rebuilt engine & thoroughly going over the rebuild with a fine toothed comb...
it positivly KILLED ME to see my EJ8 I named Makoto, go to some rich kid who's daddy owns his own shop... for 800 less than what i wanted...c'est la vie.


I have been thinking about saving my pennies, and going for a 99-00 EM1 SI, a six banger accord or going with a newer Gen 2009-2012 SI. until then, I'll just stick around and soak up the knowledge of the community.

I managed to get my longblock back & rebuilt under warranty. Once I've stuck around for a bit I will put it up on FS.
