I've been chasing this problem for a few weeks with a bunch of research but can't quite make anything work. p28 with an f22b1 basemap.

For freelog:
j12 is cut
Loopback test is successful. I tried following suggested instructions and enabling datalogging and freelog pluging on the rom with difference versions of crome.

I also tried tunerview for android using an hc-06. Had trouble, contacted the developer and changed the baud rate as specified. It will connect but no data is shown.

So I'm wondering about the rom or the ecu. The car runs fine with no CEL.

Just to verify, RX is CN2 pin #2 and TX is #4?

 

I have no issues, I'm using new latest version 1.6.12 and can log using the QD2 with Android TunerView or my laptop either with the Hulog or via bluetooth to PC at 920000 baud....

Have you tried a fresh rom while importing the tables and setting from your present rom? I've had unexplainable things occur from DL issues to performance issues even when the ROM looked alright in Crome however when I started fresh and re-created everything it worked. I'd chalk that up to bit error's that only the ECU was seeing but cant say in your case, just a suggestion if it's not the ECU.

 

Based on a suggestion from PGMFI forum I switched the rx and tx and was able to get readings in tunerview only when switching the protocol to qd2 honda/demon but they were off quite a bit. So I got some sort of data but nothing useful.

I spoke to the guy who sent me the rom and chip, he's got a great rep so I trust what he sent works. He advised me to burn using moates flash n burn and just write using crome so I'm able to verify that whats on the rom is exactly what I see in crome.

 

I wasn't suggesting that anything was done improperly with the chip when burned initially but something seems to be corrupted now and as ive had happen before, only recreating the rom file and reburning fixed unexplained issues I was having.....

In each instance when this occurred everything would look fine in crome when I would grab what was off the chip which was baffling so before you start pulling or swapping too much hardware id try that

Ok. So are you saying go into crome and duplicate the rom I have from one of the basemaps that crome already has?

 

My prob is when i want to verify and says:NO RTP CONNECTED.what is that and what can i do?pls help me before i broke laptop ostrich and burn2.....

 

Open Crome, open your existing rom, export the tables and note the fuel settings for your engine size, injector size, fuel pressure so you have the same offset value when you recreate the rom.

start with a new P30, P72, whatever it was based on and import the table from the saved exported tables you pulled from your existing rom. All the info from your old ROM in the Advanced tables will need to be set the same too...

Pretty much your recreating from scratch but your able to recreate it from your old ROM since your bringing all the Fuel and Ign values back into the new ROM.
