00 Civic - radio removal
Does anybody know how to remove aftermarket stereo Head Unit? It's Alpine, and the side keys don't get in fully. There seems to be screws on the steel frame of the HU. Thanks

Unless you've mounted the radio below the dash in the console like I did the keys should work. It isn't held in by any screws in the upper stock location.

Here's a link with photos. If it's bolted in, practically have to tear apart the entire dash to get the climate control console out.

Problem solved. I just removed the whole air control - radio unit, and I could access the wires in the back by pulling the whole unit out. Thanks
