wire diagram for 89 trunk glass heater
Could anyone point me in the right direction on how to wire my fuel pump switch. I'm trying to make the the glass heater switch (in my 89 si, it's just right of the steering wheel and has an orange light) into my fuel prime switch..would anyone know which wire (cuz its a 5 or 6 wire switch) is the power wire and if this switch is a 12v switch? I would really appreciate some well thought advice. Thanks

you know that circuit is a timed circuit right? why would you be trying to use this switch, why not just ad one?
Why are you bumping?
If you press the switch, it automatically turns itself off after a set amount of time.
I'm not sure how it works, but this isn't the first time that I have read that it may have a timer in it.
Open it up and check it out!

there is a timer module and relay somewhere, it varies depending on which model, the switch only controls the relay, the rear glass heater takes a lot of current, so the switch doesn't directly control it
