I went out tonight to test drive a 92 cx w/ 116xxx miles. Ran okay. Planning on hybrid anyway. The rear fender was rinkled, and the dude wanted $3,900. I had $3,500 cash, but was only going to give him 2,800. Crazy people, he wants way too much. So in perspective, yeah, easy, find one for 2k then spend 2k on engine and sus.

I found mine through autotrader, you can usually find someone who is
not trying to retire off of what they sell it for there. I had to drive about 2hrs,
but got it for 2,800 and it runs great with only one dent(very small).
Good luck

4 grand can definetly get you a nice hatch, for some reason hatches are higher in prices in CALI than elsewhere in the country. dude if you can find one as stock as possible go for it. my friend bought a 92 cx fixed up with a lot of miles for $3200, the car looks good from a far, but when you see it up close, its a cheap paint job, broken interior parts here and there & no carpeting. reason he bought it coz it had rims, exhaust and a type r yellow color. he regrets it now.

now i got my 92 cx "BONE STOCK" from this lady for $2900. the car is in awesome condion, no tears or rips on the interior. buy the car as stock as possible. good luck.

What did you do with your factory OEM corner lenses?
Are they in good shape, would you wanna sell if you still
have them?
