Default 00 Civic - Dash fuse box and wiper motor questions

Which side of the fuse line in the under dash fuse box is the "in" side? Top or bottom? Kinda confused...

Gotta make a temp hobo jump switch and I'm not interested in frying my car...

Always,

Thanks

Yeah, I was hoping somebody else understood what the question was so I didn't have to ask.

He is asking does the current flow from the wires in the bottom of the box back out of the top wires.

But i think the answer is both. Current flows in and out through both

Oh, okay. He wants to know if voltage comes from the top or bottom prong of the dash fuses. I don't know the answer, but he can figure it out easily:
  1. Remove fuse of interest.
  2. Turn key to ON(II).
  3. Use a test light or multimeter to determine which terminal in the fuse slot is hot.

I don't think he means the fuses themselves rather the wires feeding the box

I guess I'm back to being confused.

The wires and connectors are not top/bottom but rather front/rear.

I did the troubleshooting. I temporarily fixed the problem. Emphasis on 'temporarily'.

Sorry about the confusion. I just read my original post a wondered if I was asleep or drunk when I posted it. It makes very little sense.

Can I use my rear wiper motor in the front? My front one is going down, and I'm short on the funds necessary to replace the egregiously priced front wiper motor.

Have you tried scouting junk yards for a used motor?

I think you could've test this yourself by using DMM.

All within my plan. I have very little time to search for a wiper motor for my car. I can't use one from another model civic.

Still, thanks for your help.
