Default Steamy Radiator

My 1997 Honda Accord SE, has an S- irTF20B F20B F20B 200hp rated N/A motor well my temp gauge never reads at the center mark, it's 3/4 the way there. And it stays there, I don't even have to use either fan, but the odd ball is its the tranny side of my radiator, it's emmiting steam through the grill, should I be worried about this, or just turn on the fan to delete the steam, but will that alter my already drivable car iv already put like 1500 mi and done an oil change successfully using a f22 / H22 oil filter. It just looks really weird, I don't want a bad reputation. It is also at freezing temperatures, which is why I think it's now showing the heat but I don't ever see this, it's just my project doing it.

I think you should be concerned, unless you are constantly driving in rain.

The steam is water coming from somewhere. Which means you have a leak. Suggest you pressure test the radiator.

u might wanna check thermostat
aftermarket t-stats are known to fail and now have fail-safe ones where if breaks in an open position not a closed one. either way they're crap

Found a leak, at the clamp, on the top radiator hose, on the radiator side. So your saying because my Acura NSX thermostat has a hole drilled in it its keeping my temp gauge from reaching the midway point. But if I change this I'll have to figure out my fan problem, when I bought the car it had an aftermarket temp switch to turn the fan on. I ripped it out.

Your temp gauge reading sounds normal to me, it sits right around the "4 o'clock" position. If mine ever got to half......my first thought would be something isn't right, it is starting to over heat.

Great good news to me I got the car with piston 3 hanging out so I wouldn't know factory stuff. Gotta get the misty leak fixed, while I'm here can I take off the power steering pully and swap with the h22 with it.

While I was timing my car last night before I Found My Radiator Leak I Just Fixed My Dizzy From Leaking I Changed My Spark Plug Well Seals,It Was A Bad mess I'll Never Tie A Popping Off Oil Dipstick Again, It Was My PCV Valve Sticking but I Ended Up Having A Backfire Than Drove 3 Miles To Get Home To Check Seals And Re Time I Have To Now Turn My Dizzy Into The Center For 12° Instead Of All ThE way Clocked Wise Away From Firewall I Think All The Bumping, Even In Snow Must Of freed The Belt I Have AN H22 Belt And F22 Pully It Was Near Impossible To Mate The 2 But My 5Ft Pry Bar Made It Possible.I Really Can't Realign It Plus It's ToTight I Bought A H22 Pump But The Pressure Hose Don't Fit, I Believe The F22 Belt Was To Big To Start With I Used The Wrong Bracket When The F20 Uses The H22 I Even Bought A Brand New F22 Bracket For Manual Thinking That Would Make A Difference In The Original Which Was Auto lol

You just need a 97-01 prelude ps bracket and you should be able to use your accord ps setup.

Its just that it feels so sloppy I wonder if its that f22b2 balancer making it so. I'm sorry but I'm throwing microgaurd's pcv valve down the dumps I broke out the spring plunger and going to say its modded. Is this a big mistake? Again I'm trying to vtec yo, but I heard a pop made sure it wasnt coolant but I believe it is untimmed again, but the damn oil dipstick blew again which was the smoke I was seeing. So I'm cornered into this mod.
