Default B18C5 Block N/A setup Rebuild Help.

Hello guys I have a few questions of advice i been needing and im sure onky true 'R' enthusiasts can answer it.
Please answer them numbered! Much appreciated.

1 how much does a B18C bare block go for (as pictured) only comes with the 'ITR' Crank that spun #3 bearing.

2 what should i consider in mind if the Block doesnt have the Vin number attached to it.

3 what should i do if i buy a Block like this with a possible bad crank? Try to repair it or replace it with another crank.

4 how good and worth it is it install a Ls (B18B1/A1) crank into a B18C5 & what rods/pistons have some of you used of heard of useing.

_$200-$250 for one that need to bore out or re-sleeve. $250-$400 for a good one. The spun bearing crank is pretty much junk.

_For a B18C5, no VIN means it is considered "hot" until proven innocence.

_See answer #1.

_The answer is totally depend on what you want to do with this block

C5 with no VIN, 99% chance it's stolen. If it a greasy oem finish there is no reason to remove it. If it was polished, power coated etc then it may have been removed. But still should have been reinstalled.
