According to the Automotive Wolf Program that I use to calculate everything that I am doing with my car between maintenance and fuel, is telling me that I am using to much gas. Should I change the year of gas that I am using and go to a higher octane? Right now I use Regular 87.

 

Just use regular 87. You will just be paying more with no significant benefit if you go to a higher octane.

 

What mileage are you getting and what year, engine/transmission are in the car?

 

My engine iS A 2.2, WITH 220,000 MILES, its a 1991 honda accord ex, it depends ill get anywhere from 28-29 miles to the gallon

 

28-29 sounds about right to me.
