Default Need help Regarding Civic 99/JDM D16a

Hey guyz i have a Civic 99 with D16b sohc donnow its VTEC or not and automatic transmission recently swapped ! My question is Wht ecu should be the best for A JDM D16a engine of civic 99 ! Recently swapped from D15b BT wheter my stock d15b ecu should work ?
P.S it has P2C ecu stock ? And manual in d15b swapped to automatic D16a !

And is my engine VTEC ? Coz I searched and found tht its VTEC with single solenoid ?
plz help !
I m replacing ecu that it might solve the problem of my car .
It shifts quickly from 1-3 gear and even if I hit gas at extreme the rev stays on 2500-3000 rpm and shifts normally ? Wht would be the possible issue an ecu ?

I'm not completely familiar with the P2C ECU but from what I remember it has an unusual 2 connector ECU which makes ECU swapping difficult. Maybe someone more familiar can chime in. I've read people in the past have swapped engine harnesses and possibly dash harnesses to make any other Ecus work.

Yes , my dash harness has 2 connectors for ecu ! Which ecu should I buy for auto transmission as the previous one is for manual ?
I wanna change it coz the auto gear shifts roughly from 1-3 gears ? Even if I hit the gas to extreme point it would shift normally and rev stuck at 2500-3000. ?
Is this an ecu problem or transmission solenoid problem?

First off are you saying that u left the manual ecu in with the automatic? Does the motor have a vtec solenoid on the back passenger side of the head cuz it should? Gota kno if it is vtec or not for ecu code?

No solenoids at the back but Searching ova internet I saw at many places that its VTEC ? Don't know they said its a 1 solenoid VTEC and others are 2 ?
And it shifts but too fastly u may say coz even if I Hit the accelerator and take it to extreme it won't rev up above 2500-3000 rpm and the car slowly speed up ?
Above the 80 km/hr speed its normal ! Rev's up !

Thanks bro I'll check it its for non VTEC sure?
My engine haven't got VTEC solenoids and no VTEC on head means its a non VTEC .
Last question :- is it a 2 connector ecu ?
And any guide for setting all wires?
Coz first it was manual!
BTW thanks. A ton
