Default wax and grease remover over metal prep and etch?

I located some rust on the inner quarter of my car about a week ago thankfully it has not started showing on the outside even though I will inspect more thoroughly. I used to use denatured alcohol until my body guy told me he did not like to use it much and recommended kleanstrip prep all(turned out a gallon of it is cheaper than the denatured I formerly used lol). WIth the little rust that I can see after sanding it all down he recommended using a metal prep and etch. It worked great but now I'm not sure if i should use the prep all wax and grease remover on top of it before throwing some primer on it.

Im sure alot of this is general knowledge for painters(which I am not) but its christmas eve and he will not be available for a couple days so I am in a tight spot on what to do? Would it be good insurance to use the wax and grease remover over the metal etch or does it not really matter?

these are some photos from another site not my car(my cameras messed up on my phone) basically it looks like metal after you use naval jelly etc.

assuming you handled all the rust with the metal prep, and you have scuffed it with the proper grit for the primer and you are going to spray primer, then yes i would say wipe it with wax and degreaser before you spray with self etch or dtm/epoxy primer.

if your paint guy is going to be primering it, then let him handle it. he'll know what to do
