b series valves weight
I've been looking and just trying to see if there is manufactures producing lighter b-series valves. Companies may be able to shed some grams with different retainer designs and different weight rods, but what about the valve itself and still be durable. Does anyone know of a lighter/est b-series vtec valve on the market??

Here is some weights from valvetrain what I've measured:
-PR3 Intake valve 47g
-Stock retainer 13g
-Supertech retainer, ti (RET-K20A2/T2) 7g
-Ferrea locks (K10034) 1,4g/pair
-Ferrea retainer, ti (E12020) 3,7g
-B-VTEC rocker arms 262g
-LMA spring (14820-PCB-305) 27g
-Valvespring Supertech, outer (SPR-H1002D) 32g
-Valvespring Supertech, inner (SPR-H1002D) 11g
-Valvespring Ferrea (S2014) 34g
Ferrea 6000 Intake is 43 grams, exhaust is 39 grams. We make a Titanium valve that is 24 grams, but a set of 16 will run you $2000. Hard to compare that to a $240 set of 6000s
No joke about the price! I was just curious. I've been building and racing here and there for awhile. But I have never tried comparing valve weight. I will be checking out a set of those 6,000's.
Curiosity, would there be a down fall of life to the titanium valve in the oem steel guide?? Life expectancy?

We use bronze guides and softer beryllium seats when we use Titanium valves. They don't last as long on a steel seat. They also have a coating for longer life.
