harness question 97 civic
I have a 1997 civic ek coupe with a d15y7 non vtec engine I plan on swapping that out real soon and replacing it with a b20b engine can I use the stock harness to the car and if so what exactly has to be done or changed ?!?!
First off is the B20B, is it USDM, what ECU, and if so does it come with a wiring harness?
If its a USDM B20B:
-use the engine harness it comes with and the B20B or OBD2 B18B USDM ECU
-wire up the secondary 02 to the ECU
If its a JDM B20B using a USDM ECU:
-use your engine harness with the following modifications - 3 to 2 wire IACV conversion, extend secondary 02, either convert your IAT plug to round style or place your factory IAT into your intake arm, bypass CKF (crank fluctuation sensor)
If its a JDM B20B using a JDM OBD2 ECU:
-use your engine harness with the following modifications - 3 to 2 wire IACV conversion, either convert your IAT plug to round style or place your factory IAT into your intake arm (this ECU will however not connect to an OBD2 emissions scanner if your state has those)

Sounds great how do I convert the 3 wire iacv to a 2 wire ?!?!
And I will be using a obd1 p28 with a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness
And what about alternator distribtor etc ??

Will plug and play as long as your distributor has the same connectors
