Default Trans or clutch problem

97 Honda civic ek
Installed new clutch and new transmission, bled the clutch, will pull for awhile , enough to get down the road and half away back (4 blocks) then nothing,no pulling, no grinding when shift in to gear without clutch.

Has anyone had this problem

Thank you

Problem eventually goes away? Or are you still stuck 2 blocks from home?

No doesn't go away, sorry about the unclear post was in a hurry.

I've replace both the clutch and transmissions twice, bled the slave both times check the flywheel the last time, the master isn't leaking and the pedal feels good. But it just stops pulling ( it pulled each time after replacing the clutch and strongly pulling) after a few while driving.

What stops pulling? What do you mean pulling?

Feel like the clutch just stops gripping, car doesn't move, and can shift into any gear with out pressing the clutch pedal

Does your clutch pedal have freeplay?

The first half inch or 1" of pedal travel should just be freeplay. The pedal should not push fluid for the first half inch or so.

Your clutch probably doesn't start to engage until the very very top of the pedal travel. Yes?

Set the freeplay correctly and test drive it again.

Also check to make sure your clutch fork is still in position. It would help diagnose if you could look at the clutch fork while a friend pushes the clutch pedal down multiple times. Do you see the clutch fork being pushed by the slave cylinder? Is it moving?

Are you saying to check to see the clutch fork is stuck in the pushed forward position? Like...always disengaging the clutch?

Well, I was more saying to see if it's engaging at all, but yes, OP would notice that, too.

It was the Rod for the pedal to the master too tight
