Default 94 eg w/ b8 engine - hum coming from new tranny or starter?

hey guys, I just had my entire drive train replaced master slave clutch fly tranny (ex syncrotech) so I know I have a good tranny and axles. but with the racket from the bad input shaft bearing gone since I had this car I hear a hum coming from the tranny/starter area . love the new tranny and is running awesome
ever heard of a starter humming? tranny? im pretty deaf from lets just say a lot of very loud noises so its difficult for me to pinpoint. any thoughts? I don't want to damage my new tranny if this is something bad

is there a way to disconnect the starter power with car running that wont make engine die or shock me. then I will know if its the starter for sure.ive never heard this on any of my Hondas before.

doing my best guys but need your help please read entire post before response and yes I did pre question research.
thanks in advance dave

Throwout bearing.

Does it happen when you push the clutch in? How about when the clutch is released?

brand new clutch and throwout and pilot bearing.... clutch in and out zero noise that sounds like a tob or isb this is a weird hum almost sounds electrical.... I am familiar with the sound of a bad throwout bearing it sounds nothing like that stumped thanks for your input bro.

I have a hard time deciphering what you wrote in the post above, however I wouldn't run straight 10W30 in place of transmission fluid. Might want to flush it and stick with either Honda or Torco fluids.
