Default Honda civic 1992 rack and pinion - tie rods - need help!!!!

Ok so my 1992 civic has a Manuel rack and pinion

Ok we'll lately my steering has gotten really hard when I make turns not like normally and from what I heard it could be my inner or outter tie rods
So I was wondering can I just replace the inner and outter tie rods and it will be fix or will I have to replace the whole rack and pinion??
Please and thank for any help or info

yes you can replace just the inner and or outer tie rods
but you should verify that is the reason first

How would I verify it? I have a little play in my tie rods but I don't want to switch both the inner and outter tie rods and it end being my whole rack
