Default DOHC ZC clutch option

Hi all,

So my Exedy HD clutch has started slipping now that i'm making a bit more power, and i'm trying to find a clutch with a higher torque rating (~200lb/ft at the wheels) and Exedy don't seem to have the option on their website.

I have an 88 (21 spline) transmission and would ideally like to run a 90-00 flywheel. I've seen a couple of clutch types out there that are a 21 spline count with a 212mm diameter, does that mean i can run the 90-00 flywheel? I'd like to run a lighter flywheel and i haven't found a lighter one to suit the 88 clutch.

This is the clutch i was looking at... (out of stock :/)

It's an RT4wd transmission, so i can just easily find another D series trans to use instead.

Any ideas anyone?

Cheers

this is the clutch that we use - 8200 rpm launch on 9.5 inch slicks - 11 lb. flywheel - no wheel spin - no problems

That's actually what I had back in the day. MAN I had to use the seat as leverage to push the clutch in before my calf muscle got built up and got used to it.
