Default clutch and flywheel question

Ok. Just got a fidanza 7lb flywheel for my z6. Now I was just gonna go to autozone and just get a standard clutch kit... considering my car isn't making 5 billion ftlbs of torque. Is there some kind of negetive effect on not getting an exxedy Or act or any other decent clutch? I'm not asking for critisism on a light flywheel effect on a d series. Is there still more weight loss on an aftermqrket clutch? Thanks in advance. And yes I undrstand the flywheel effect. I researched and did some math.

theres shouldnt be much weight savings when going different clutches

but if i were you, i'd go exedy, for the plain facts that they, in a way, are oem, and costs less than autozone

id stick to something that is tired and true, exedy, comp, act etc.

I have an autozone clutch in my car (i have a d16z6 as well) and it grabs pretty good for oem replacement. I paid 125 for mine. It came with the pilot and throwout bearings as well.

i myslef do not care for it, neither does he. personaly i just feel that its too soft and it sometimes feels like it doesnt want to grab. it was purchased just to get the car back on the road, he doesnt expect it to last very long.

Just order it online. Its cheaper.
And the light flywheel on your D series will be much more enjoyable. It will feel way faster, and in a way it will be.
