RDX and hondata
Has anyone had any issues with there flashpros on 07-08 rdx's? I'm buying a 07 tech package black rdx and plan on doing the flashpro, ets IC ,dp and intake. Before I spend the cash on this combo just want to make sure there been no issues with the flash pro or long term effects on the k23.
The RDX FlashPro works really well on the RDX and provides impressive gains simply with the tuning. The boost can be increased to further the gains easily without much engine problems. The best place to start with mods is the downpipe and exhaust as the factory equip is somewhat restrictive. The nice part of the reflash system is there are several good basemaps that you can start with so you can reflash on your own without making it required to dyno tune for gains. The system is rock-solid without any complications or problems that we've seen.
That's awesome I just test drove it and man the top end is flat but bottom end was killer, i heard the flashpro takes care of that. We have 93 here so I'll be only using that. Are there any 3" exhausts out for the rdx? I'm thinking of using a aem water meth kit to.
I forget the gains the flash alone is 25 or so HP and big torque gains. He stock ecu runs rich as hell and loves to pull timing if it sees to much power even in sport mode with the vsa off. The flashpro fixes a lot of that but it still will pull timing with a custom tune in cold weather, to much boost etc. I think it might be a torque limiter for the tranny but its something hondata needs to work on for us rdx owners. There's a guy in OK with a rdx cams, upgraded compressor wheel, clipped, RBC intake manifold and he is seeing good numbers. The aftermarket support is tough but it's there.. Intake, downpipe, intercooler exhaust and a flashpro show really nice gains over stock.
