Innovative Hydro to cable conversion kit?
Hi guys, I need a little help. My friend gave me a transmission out if his garage for free, it's stamped Y-1 and I think it's a b16a trans. Anyways, I'm starting my lsvtec swap right now, so money's tight so I wanna put that trans in with the swap. The problem is my car is hydro, and after looking around I found the innovation hydro to cable kit.
Now to the point. Will this work for the b16a tranny? How hard it it to install? And what clutch would I use for a B16a tranny on a b18b1 block?
Car is a 1995 honda civic with a d16z6 in it currently

From what I've heard, those things never quite work right. Sell the transmission your friend gave you, buy the proper transmission with that money, and don't worry about any hackjob fixes.

I think what you're looking for is the cable to hydro conversion kit. If money is tight than go ahead and get the kit, if they have one. No point in asking if its a good buy or not if you're sitting talking about money is tight.
Lol, my car is built right and treated well. Hydro trannies are are to find around where I live, and nobody wants to trade for a cable one. No need to be a ******* just trying to see if anyone has used this kit
