Default D16y8 overheated question

Hey so I have a 97 ex coupe with a d16y8
I have a question about the metal coolant pipe that runs on the backside of the block. from the water pump
To the thermostat
What can cause that pipe to bust ? I mean as I'm a big a hole in it it ? Does anyone now?
And I just had my timing belt and water pump and tensioner pulley changed three days ago
Any help.
Thanks

Did you do to timing belt water pump or someone else? Is there any shred of evidence as to something smashing into it or hairline cracks protruding past the hole? Oh and what did you do to that fixed your 5k rev limiter problem?

I had a mechanic do it for me he's done a lot of stuff for my other family's cars and what not
And to fix that problem I had to change the rpm sensor because the tranny was from a 92-95 civic
It's kinda dark here I haven't gotten a good look yet I'll be taking It apart tomorrow most likey and I'll upload some photos

What can cause the radiator
To steam ? Even tho the temp
Gage is at operating temperature.
And now I can't find where it started to coolant to leak out I even pressure checked if there was any leaks anywhere.
Can it be my fan ? Not trunning on or my thermo stat? And when I said I big hole I was probably tripping lol

rad to steam might be exhaust in the cooling system meaning block or head wasnt checked for flatness and milled..

might be time to do it all over again if the pressure test didnt show any leaks. that means a new head gasket too

Damn
And also the rad doesn't turn on to spin, does that mean it's the thermo going bad ? Or the sensor ?

use a liquid block tester and see if there's co2 in the coolant
