D15B7 - need help with cel code 22
So ive been trying to get code 22 for the vtec oil pressure switch to go away. I spent months trying to figure out the problem i recently found out that the oil pressure switch wire that goes to the ecu was unplugged i tweaked the wire back in and still code 22 and im stumped. I saw that above the oil filter theres a little outlet where i can put an oil pressure gauge. Turns out looks like theres a red and yellow wire that looks like its unplugged from there is that where my problem is? If so can i bypass it? if not what else can it be? ive replaced the whole selenoid, reset the ecu, and multible other common code 22 issues. fyi i have a d15b7 with and obd1 ecu thank youu
Have you tested to see if the code sets with the key on /engine off? This would confirm wiring continuity problems. If no code then likely oil pressure problems exist if the code resets only with the engine running.
I'd almost guess you got a mini me if you have a vtec solenoid.

Sorry new here but i know that it was swapped with a d15b7 not sure the stock motor its a 93 dx 4dr. Im not sure the exact ecu info. i believe its an obd1 that didnt have the vtec pressure switch wire and the others for the vtec in the harness. The owner before me added them. I swapped the selenoid from another d15b7 and bought a new pressure switch. How exactly do you check the continuity? Ive read the manual posts but its hard for me to understand haha
I'm just assuming you have a mini me swap with a P28 ECU. So here ya go:
