Default D15b1, Misfire on cyl #1

Hey HT, I'm having some trouble with my dpfi d15b1 in my 1990 hatch.
It has a misfire on cylinder 1, I figured this out by pulling the wires while the engine was running and listening for a difference.
It runs quite rich right now as well.
I've swapped the plugs and it didn't make a difference.
Maybe wires next.
I'm thinking injectors but am not 100% sure.
If anybody has some insight into how to fix this, Tia.

How do you know it's running rich, did you check the spark plug from one after running new plugs and is it burned?

Before u spend the money do a compression test they should be within 20% of each other to run halfway decent , pop the distubiter cap and look for a carbon tracks on the inside of cap ,wipe it clean and look real close ,they go from electrode to electrode ,will get worse under load ,next time you do your test have a helper power brake it while you cancal out wires ,u can do it real easy with a test light ,but it's bad for the wires, good luck

The reason that I suspect it's running rich is because it smells of gas strongly when I'm just cruising around and I'm getting terrible gas mileage.(21 mpg).
I checked the wire for cylinder 1 last night and it was getting spark comparable to the other 3. Also the plug was black and burnt like it had soot on it.
I took the cap off the dizzy and it had almost no sign of wear on the electrodes, the rotor just had some minor rust that I took off of it.
I plan on doing a compression test later this week.
Any other help is appreciated, thanks.
