The car is a 94 civic dx all stock. The car was not starting so I replaced plugs wires and distributor with a new one from autozone and cap and rotor. The car starts but it is only running on 3 cylinders. It is getting spark on the number 4 cylinder because I pulled the plug and put it on the head and there was spark it was blue but when I hold it an inch away no spark. I also pulled the fuel rail to check and see if the injectors were firing and they were. Should I just replace the distributor again? I will be doing a compressions test later today.

probably a cylinder misfire. i have the same problem

Compression test is as follows from 1 to 4 . 160-158-170-130. defintently a dead cylinder

That doesn't look like the greatest numbers I've ever seen, however they don't look like they would cause a dead cylinder. Try a leak down test and see what that yeilds.

yeah, those numbers arent terrible enough to cause a dead cylinder. I have a 93 dx that was on three cylinders with spark and fuel to all four and i did a compression test with 162 165 160 25. Cylinder number 1 was dead completely. It turned out to be a chipped valve which I didnt find out till i pulled the head off.

Also do a valve adjustment and make sure everything is within spec. I spent a whole month troubleshooting a misfire in my integra and it was because I didnt adjust the valves after my rebuild. I never did a compression test but i did everything else.
