Default need stiffer hatch door shocks, 96 CX

The shocks I have are history and since I want to put some MLV for sound deadening in the door I'd need stronger than stock anyway. Anybody done this and have a source/ part#? McMaster-Carr has too big a selection to narrow down.
Thanks!

I got Rhino shocks from partsgeek, but I think you can also get them at Advance/Autozone. Unless you have like 20lbs extra weight, you'll probably be fine with just good, non-leaking shocks.

Thanks, I'll check those out. In searching I see plenty of people say OEM are pretty pricey and were looking for alternatives. I just don't wanna spend $$ and it not be strong enough. Got the MLV from Sounddeadenershowdown and he says you'll need stronger shocks
