Hello, I need help on finding on which usdm intake manifold from which b series to put on my jdm b18c type r. I need a new intake manifold so i can install my evap purge valve, to get my car state ref. Don't want to go aftermarket, trying to get my car reffed(bar'd).

Been searching all over the internet, and can't find a solid answer.

 

I would call motors online. That guy knows his stuff and has a lot of experience in getting JDM motors set up for CALI smog.
I can saw he helped me a ton and I don't even have his motor.

 

If you have a USDM Type-R, then you need a USDM Type R manifold. This is the one that has the big purge nipple on the back instead of the tiny vacuum signal line nipple.

JDM Left (OBD-1 style small evap nipple lower left)
USDM Right (OBD-2 style large evap nipple upper right)

You will have to cap off the OBD-1 style EVAP nipple on the JDM throttle body too. This may or may not pass inspection where you live. If it doesn't, you will need a USDM throttle body too.
