Default Distributor CYP Help!!!

hi, I recently bought a OEM JDM distributor with 40k, replaced the rotor and cap with original parts. Yesterday the rotor screw back off and hit the CYP (not have the plastic shield). Now the car start but with code 9, I have the old dizzy with good CYP.

Someone can give me a link or a idea on how to swap them... I've heard people like hondapartshero saying that there are interchangeable.

thanks

P.S. The dist. is a TD87 from a ITR but here I can get more help.

Once you fix the sensor, install a dust cover, which is not an optional distributor component.

OK, Replaced the CYP and the Code 9 still on. Switch to an eBay distributor and the code not show. The reason I can't leave the eBay distributor on is cause it breaks in High boost.

CYP have 402 ohms (in spec). What other thing can trigger the code 9?

Thanks

No, sorry for use your name as example, I just referring in my case two same models distributors can exchange guts.

My doubt was about the alignment of the sensor, but once I take it off I see the pin in the back.

Any advice on the code 9 once replaced the CYP?

Perform all the test from the manual. Still code 9.

CYP = 402 ohms
TDC = 376 ohms
CKP = 369 ohms

Tested at distributor plug and computer plug.

Continuity test to body ground also in both ends.

The code not show the first minutes at cold start, when the CEL pop on, turn off the car and start it again and the CEL stay off like 10 seconds and pop again. Put another distributor and no CEL.
