z6 head on y8 block - timing problem

z6 head on y8 block - timing problem

I'm doing the z6 head on a y8 block. I'm having problems getting the timing right. I put the y8 cam gear on there with a y8 timing belt. I can't get it to start.

Any help would be appreciated.

And you have verified that mechanical timing is correct?
