Default start up, misfire, and dies

i swapped out my b-series, and put in a d16y8 in my 97 civic. i am pretty sure there is a z6 intake manifold on it. it's pretty much stock. before i took the motor swap out of a another car it was running. now it starts up and backfires and just dies ( foot on or off the gas pedal) only thing i didn't hook up is the purge canister, speed sensor, and o2 sensors. throwing codes po113, p1298, and p1259..i checked the firing order it's correct. the plugs are wet with gas. not realy sure what is going on.

P0113 (not PO113) is your IAT sensor. P1298 is your ELD. P1259 is a generic VTEC malfunction code.

Start with the first code, then move on down the list until they're all solved. Your car should be starting and idling properly after you fix the first two, and should run correctly after you fix the third. Exactly what ECU are you using for your engine? What trim is your chassis?

Also check whether all codes return after resetting the ECU and whether fuse 15 is blown.

i ran the eld to the alternator and the fuse box (under the hood ) on the vtec pressure switch there is a blue wire cut not to sure where that goes. the black wire is grounded to the distributor. im using a p2p ecu...

..
also would the iat be one wire or two wire ? might have mixed it up with the purge valve.

i changed some sensor plugs around, checked the fuse (it wasn't blown), and connected my eld. it just cranks now with no backfire. i smell fuel under the hood pretty strong after i tried to crank her a couple times. the spark plug also has some fuel on it (checked #1)

Randomly? Verify that connector wire colors match the sensor. Otherwise, you can blow the ECU.

Current CEL codes after resetting ECU?

Do all 4 plugs have bright white spark?

kind of random lol on the b-series i only label the wires i needed... im using the same harness, so i switched the iat plug with the purge or the knock sensor(can't remember long day). as of now i only have 2 engine codes. eld, and an o2 sensor. it starts up so crappy but it runs now. when i start it, it will sound like it's going to die immediately, i push on the gas pedal a couple of times, it stumbles into a high idle. but the idle comes down to about 1kRPMS. i tried to get the idle down to 800-900RPMS but no luck.

Hook up the ELD and O2 sensor to eliminate those codes and then double check that all sensor connectors match the sensors using the wire colors. Then go from there.

i can get those codes off no problem. but i don't think it's why my car is starting crappy. it never had the eld from the factory, and i only connect it when it's inspection time. the o2 sensor im sure wouldn't effect starting.

thinking maybe it's the throttle cable for some reason

or ignition timing is off.

i'll go at her more when i get time tomorrow i guess. any reason why would someone put a z6 intake manifold on a y8 motor ? i never really got into the D-series.
