just like the topic says, i just bought my GF a del Sol, and i'm gonna put the "big block" H22 in it, already got mounts and axles on the way, but i want to know how hard it is to keep AC and PS? if i have to make mounts, then so be it.
i'd really appreciate any info you've got, and yes, i did a search about keeping AC and PS, and only found "here say" stuff about it. when it comes to Preludes, i know them inside and out, but for something like this, i'm just another n00b

We offer a kit for just the A/C to be retained. The P/S should work if you cut the line and have welded to the prelude line that connects into the P/S pump. The A/C mount fits well for the HCP Mount kits. I am not sure about the other kits.

do you have pics of the kit installed and by itself?

We're using it on 6 cars (2 EK cars, 4 EG cars)... it's a tight fit but when it's in there and working, it's well worth it. Two guys got PS on their car, although I feel it's not needed (I drove my hatch and then their Integra.... not that much of a difference, and zero difference when moving - might help if you're lazy in a parking lot and want to use 1 hand, but in my hatch, I could turn with one hand under 5mph w/out PS).

that's kinda ghetto looking, but hey, if it works
well, the car is actually my GFs, she doens't have PS right now, and she swore that her next car would have it, and she doesn't want to give up A/C.... i ditched the A/C and PS on my Teg, and that's what i ended up having to drive all summer, so the Lude will be back in action hopefully within the next month.... jsut in time NOT to need some nice A/C
oh well, as soon as my car is back on the road, i need a winter project.... i've got it made, i get to work on another project, and this time my GF gets the bill..... how cool is that

What AC comp. do you use with that mount? The AC/alt. belt for the lude is thicker than the one for the civ. What about the condenser clearence? I tried to fit the condenser in but it hits the alt.

i just checked out that website... can i buy just the plate for the A/C alone? i've already got a HASport mount kit on the way (i got it really cheap), and i just need the A/C braket

when i first looked, it only looked like a peice of steel with some holes in it, i didn't realize that it had post stickin out if it, that's why i said it was ghetto
well, even if i buy that bracket to go along with the HASport mount, i guess i could modify the bracket, or even use it as a basis to make my own...
