Noise from right rear interior
i stripped out all the seats and panels in the back and when im hitting some small bumps i hear some metal rattling noise from the right rear section. i checked to see if anything was loose but couldnt find anything. what could be vibrating?
im sure there is no loose change back there.

Re: Noise from right rear interior (92CXHB)
I have a noise similar on my 92 dx hatch. it is coming from the passenger side rear. I replaced the main bushing w/ urethane one and all lugs are tight. shock tower bolt is also tight. I guess it could be the wheel bearing because it is starting to sound worn when i'm driving, but this metal clunk sounds alot like a loose wheel when i go over bumps... I have a new wheel bearing on the way, hopefully it will stop making the noise....

If you have a aftermarket exhaust and your lowered, the control arm could be hitting the exhaust. Mine did when it was lowered a little more than usual.

Re: Noise from right rear interior (civicdohc)
heh if its the wing i found a nice temp solution..... fold up a thin piece of cardboard...trident gum box.....and wedge it under the wing in the middle, stopped mine
