Default 4" C Clamp big enough for changing brake pads?

I did a search and nothing came up.
I only have a 4" one, do I need a 6" clamp for this task? thanks

I used a 6" C-Clamp and it was more than big enough to compress the front pistons on the front calipers.... so I think a 4" should suffice....

If it doesn't work you can just use the end of a hammer to push it back in. A little harder but it works.
