So i got a jdm.b18c block n slappeed on my usdm b16 intake manifold but when i turn on my car it accelerates on its own. What could have cause this? I already change the tps n didnt fix yhe problem? Its on a 00 civic em1

 

Vacuum leak
Tight throttle cable
Incorrect idle speed adjustment

 

Im thinking it might be a vacum leak too but thats not going to.be easy to find

The problem is that when i turn it on its just keeps accelerating i habe to turn it off right away

 

Then you have a rather large vacuum leak. Shouldnt be too hard to find. Start by checking all of the vacuum nipples on the manifold. Make sure each one has a line running from it (or its capped) and make sure the line goes to the proper device and that the line is not cracked.

if I'm not mistaken... I didn't think you could put a b16 IM on a gsr? unless you mean you have the b18c (itr) and not the b18c (jdm gsr)... or you're running an itr or b16 head?

Does this seem right? I put a tee to connect the 3 hoses..i still have the high idle problemm. I bought a new tps n nothing change
