Default Whale ***** intake installation advice

Hi I have a 2000 Civic with D15Z8 and need advice on installing whale ***** intake. My old standard intake had two holes on the intake tube. See attachment. One of hole has a hose connected onto it which goes to rocker cover. The other hole has a plug connected to it.

On the whale ***** intake, there are also two holes. So what I did was just swap the plug and hose on it but there is also a red hose included with the intake which I believe goes to rocker cover, do I need this? Also have I installed it properly? The last pic shows the red hose, I haven't connected the plug on this, did it later but no pic.

That's how I have mine, but some states and provinces won't allow it.

Just vent the valve cover and remove the hose. Thank us later.
