Icon6 B18C "r" swap into 2000 ITR - CEL Questions

Hello everyone,

I will preface my post with this: I searched many, many pages (30+ and the FAQ) before posting and am actually an old member (cannot remember username, been a while). I've had my 2000 ITR for many years.

Blew the headgasket and probably disrupted the pistons/rings/seals in my OEM motor. It gave me 129K miles and a lot of track days, Auto-X.. can't be too mad.

Swapped in a JDM B18C from Al at Japan Direct in Raleigh, NC (High recommendation for anyone looking for a swap in the mid-atlantic area, Al is awesome and my swap was insanely clean and solid - used engine transmission Toyota Honda Mazda Mitsubishi Nissan Hyundai)

Worked out all of the kinks and the motor is running strong. Throwing P0170 and p0171. To save myself any more unnecessary expenditures (it's been a real journey thus far), I was thinking a new fuel filter and new upstream oxygen sensor. Are there any other issues that could be causing the code?

-B18C swap
-OEM USDM ECU from my motor
-CKF corrected
-JDM Intake mani
-USDM tranny

If you guys play nice I might post a pic or two. TIA

I definitely doubled down on the vacuum lines. They are either brand new or solid and very tight. I forgot to mention that, great suggestion though.

How's the throttle response? Did you do anything to clean any possible old fuel residue out of the fuel system?

Throttle response is solid, if not lacking a hair in the low rpm ranges (can't tell if it's the couple month layoff I had in not driving or me just forgetting how little torque the r has ).

I didn't do anything to clean out the fuel system - it sat for a couple months but was running solidly before. I only swapped the long block, otherwise the the car is all OEM USDM. Only mods on car are AEM CAI, the JDM 4-2-1, T1R 2.5" catback, and a 2.5" spun cat from Dave at SMSP.

The car runs great; I wouldn't even care about the CEL if I didn't have to pass inspection (ASAP).
