Default Track Problem

My friend (Xaosone) has a 98 GSR and his best time stock was 15.5.
We took the car to the track today after getting a 2.25" catback exhaust, an air filter and falken azenis. For some reason he ran worst times than he did when he was stock, and was getting a lot of tire spin and wheelhop launching at 4k rpms...

I drove the car too and try launching at 3k Rpms and still got a lot of wheel spin..

Best 60ft of the night was 2.4, and the best ET was 15.6 with a 2.5 60ft.

Could there be any special reason that he is getting all this wheelspin and wheelhop. I even chirped 4th gear..... We though the azenis were supposed to stick to the ground, and the exhaust would have helped his times...

Any tips on eliminating the wheelhop???
