is this a fast and the furious edition? WTF do you have the laptop in there for? If you lost the hood scoop/wing and the laptop mounts it would be much easier to sell IMO. But it looks like its fun to drive with a good motor. GLWS either way

great car, the price is right... but i gotta be honest man... that hood and laptop screams WTF... did a shop do that?
who installed the turbo kit, same person that did the hood?

Interested... but can you give me some background.. looking at a built car and some of these mods just makes me nervous

 

I understand that the hood scoop is a matter of taste, but it is not a reason to be nervous. It was done by my son and his friends, but that is all that they did themselves. Personally, I think it looks OK. The turbo, headers, and exhaust were installed by Soul Speed in Austin. They are a high performance shop that specializes in this type of modification. The engine rebuild was performed by John Long of Automotive Specialists in Georgetown, TX. They, too, specialize in track and performance modifications with extensive experience with S2000s, Miatas, and Corvettes. The Hondata and related sensors were done by Pro-Tech Performance of Austin, another specialty shop who own a dyno system that they used for a professional tune. The laptop stand is designed to be removable with two screws and leave no trace that it was there. We found it helpful to record track data and review it on site, but to each his own.
If you are seriously interested, I am willing to reduce the price to leave you with some cash for you to replace the hood with one of your choice.
