Default Non-ABS master cylinder in ABS car?

I have ABS, however the previous owner disabled the system and it doesn't work anymore. I'm looking to replace the master cylinder, and the non-ABS master cylinder looks to be much cheaper. Can I put a non-ABS MC on a previously-ABS car? If it matters it's a 94 integra, but the MCs were all pretty much the same for hondas of this era if my memory serves me correctly.

Nonabs master on an abs booster is not a good idea. Just buy a replacement brake master. They can't be that expensive.

I ordered part number 112700 or 11-2700 from A-1 Cardone. I think it's the correct part.

well seeing as the only Integra that did not come with ABS was the RS and Rockauto.com separates them by submodel, this shouldn't have been too hard.

since the ABS is disabled already, why not delete it completely? its easy and cheap. I personally like a working ABS system when its installed though.

The ABS MC takes a different sized fitting for one brake line. In the case of the civics the ABS and non ABS MCs had the ears rotated 90° so you had to swap the booster too. I think Integras are all the same that way though. Also '94 - '97 Integra will use a different MC than '98 - '01.
