Engine code P0301 (solved)
I have a 98 civic ex sedan automatic.
Yesterday at work I started my car and a few minutes later my engine light started flashing. Later that night when I started my car to go home the engine light wasn't flashing but was on. Today I drove to autozone to get it scanned with the engine light on but when I started it at autozone so they could scan it my engine light was off and is still off. Not sure why that is. They pulled one code P0301 cylinder 1 misfire.
The distributor is new, the wires are new, 3 spark plugs were changed last year, the fourth spark plug is stuck couldn't get it out. Not sure if this is the reason for the code.
Any thoughts ? Thank you

I have a d16y8 engine in my car and Yeah I believe the stuck spark plug is the cylinder 1 one. I drove my car most of the day today engine light is still off and car isn't acting any different it's just loud have a exhaust leak.
Problem solved
Engine light was flashing because my mid pipe broke right next to the converter. I have since had the entire pipe replaced as well as the muffler and problem fixed and code is gone
