Default 99 Civic Ex, Power Locks Not Working Don't Work

The title sums it up. I have a 99 Civic Ex Coupe and the power lock option does not work. I can physically lock the doors by hand so mechanically the locks work as they should.

However, if I press on the power door lock interior switch the doorlocks will not engage to the lock position or unlock.

I can hear the passenger side actuator (I assume) attempting to lock/unlock but it does not work.

I did some brief troubleshooting but need insight what to check next.

There is a 3 pin plug that routes to the driver side door power lock switch. I verified that the black wire has continuity to ground. In the meantime looking for a diagnostic flowchart...TIA

Inspect the door harness for any damage?

Push the rubber boots covering the driver- and passenger-side door jamb connectors aside and inspect them for broken wires - very common problem.

Just an FYI, the door lock control module sits in the driver side door. You'll need to inspect the harness for damage.

Nope, Tony. For 99-00 Civics, it's located behind the driver's kick panel.

Stock alarm module, if installed, would be located behind the radio.
